Audi MaterialLoop project tests circular economy potential of end-of-life vehicles
Gladbeck 03 March 2023 - Building on the joint pilot project with Audi on the recycling of automotive glass and the use of our glass granulate in new car windscreens, Audi is going one step further with the MaterialLoop cooperation project. The goal - to close material loops for recyclable materials such as steel, aluminium, plastic or glass within the automotive industry and to recover as many materials as possible in the best possible quality.

Pilot project: New windows for Audi Q4 e-tron made from defective car glass
Together with the two other partner companies Saint-Gobain Glass and Saint-Gobain Sekurit of the car manufacturer Audi, we are taking on the challenge of establishing a closed material cycle for non-repairable car glass as part of a one-year pilot project and are thus doing pioneering work.

Reiling Nutzfahrzeugservice inspires with innovative Reiling Press Collector RPS29
Reiling Nutzfahrzeugservice GmbH is part of the Reiling Group and has been offering its customers comprehensive service for their commercial vehicles for almost 30 years. The master workshop is an authorised service partner of Scania, Meiller and Palfinger. In addition, Reiling Nutzfahrzeugservice is active in (special) vehicle construction.

Reiling and Schirmbeck found a joint company
The market for container glass recycling has changed significantly in recent years. In response to this, the two family-run companies with a long tradition, Reiling and Schirmbeck, have founded a joint venture in order to be able to act as a supra-regional purchaser of raw glass vis-à-vis the dual systems.

Reiling takes over foam glass manufacturer
The Reiling Group (Marienfeld) is taking over the shares of Schaumglas Husum GmbH in Husum (near Nienburg) and Veriso GmbH in Berlin with effect from 1 September 2021. The two companies jointly produce and distribute high-quality foam glass ballast, which is supplied as a building material to the construction industry. Reiling has been supplying the Husum plant with cullet needed for production for many years.

The German Bone Marrow Donor Centre (DKMS) is committed to the fight against blood cancer, in line with its vision: We defeat blood cancer! The great goal is to find a suitable stem cell donor for every blood cancer patient in the world and to make therapy access possible. In this way, the lives of people with the disease can be saved and they can be helped to lead a normal life again.

Photovoltaic recycling - the promising business segment of the Reiling Group

Reiling invests in processing plant for PET recycling
At a joint site visit, managing director Bernhard Reiling was able to present the new location of Reiling Kunststoff Recycling GmbH & Co. KG in Burgbernheim. This means that the business unit "Recycling of Plastics" now has three locations, Bernhard Reiling explained during the presentation of the new recycling plant.
