The German Bone Marrow Donor Centre (DKMS) is committed to the fight against blood cancer, in line with its vision: We defeat blood cancer! The great goal is to find a suitable stem cell donor for every blood cancer patient in the world and to make therapy access possible. In this way, the lives of people with the disease can be saved and they can be helped to lead a normal life again.

To this end, DKMS encourages people worldwide to register as stem cell donors, makes therapies possible, as well as supporting their further development and improving the well-being of patients.

As a non-profit organisation, the DKMS depends on financial support for this.

Therefore, Reiling also supports the DKMS:

Two of our employees have already taken the step of donating stem cells for blood cancer patients after registering with the DKMS and being determined eligible. In principle, the DKMS would have reimbursed 100% of the salary costs incurred by the two employees for the period of their absence from work at Reiling.

However, we have decided to waive a not inconsiderable part of the reimbursement claim in order to support the DKMS financially in this way. We will continue to do so in the future!

We would also like to motivate our employees and fellow human beings to register and become stem cell donors!
