This was the motto of the Reiling Group's participation in this year's local "flowering campaign" (flowering campaign) at the company's Lünen site.
Right next to the company premises, an area of 1 hectare was cultivated as a flowering area (bee flower mixture) in the summer. In this way, Reiling made an active contribution to counteracting insect decline in Germany and creating new habitats for (wild) bees, bumblebees and other insects. A wide variety of plants blooms there, providing food and habitat for insects. The measure was considered a particularly successful environmental initiative, as it not only benefits insects but also strengthens native flora. This is because they play a crucial role in preserving our native flora and in agriculture. By pollinating (wild) plants, they ensure the reproduction of all plant species and are irreplaceable in our ecosystem. "I think that's a good contribution to environmental protection," says Lüner operations manager Daniel Rottwinkel, who played a key role in supporting the campaign at the site.
