From dilapidated hunters' fences to discarded Euro pallets: once processed wood has served its purpose, it is often seen by many as nothing more than waste. Reiling, on the other hand, sees waste wood as a valuable secondary raw material in the chipboard industry and an energy source for power stations. Even though wood is a renewable raw material, the responsible use of this natural product is more important than ever, especially in today's world. Individual and customised for you: Waste wood collection, container provision and recycling with Reiling
From untreated scrap wood such as wood waste or disposable pallets (Cat. A I) to particularly strongly contaminated scrap wood such as railroad sleepers or rustic fences (Cat. A IV): Reiling helps you dispose of your waste wood and prepares it for various uses by innovative techniques and the strictest controls. Our waste wood comes from a variety of sources; from industry to collections such as bulky waste, to construction and removal companies as well as private households. Our 24-hour collection point is open daily ( workdays) for commercial quantities. Private deliveries are accepted Monday to Friday from 08.00 am to 04.00 pm.
Care and expertise for safe reprocessing
We sort and remove foreign materials such as paper, plastic, and metal from around 60,000 tons of waste wood every year and then shred it. The material is stored in covered hoppers to minimise residual moisture. The suitability of scrap wood also always depends on the pollutant burden from the varnishes and treatments of the wood at hand. We offer security by careful outgoing inspections and a close-meshed network of sampling for the laboratory.

The final products: From chipboard to energy carrier
Wood chips for the particleboard industry: In addition to chipboard for normal household use, chipboard for the furniture industry and specific floor coverings is also made of our waste wood. Reiling ensures sustainability among its customers as well: All partners are FSC and PEFC certified; the coated DecoBoards are certified with the Blue Angel as well.
Wood chips for combustion: We supply power plants as well as biomass cogeneration plants with wood chips for combustion, contributing to generation of climate-neutral energy (electricity and heat).
Sustainable G 30 wood chips for heating and small combustion plants
Our G30 wood chips are a high-quality and sustainable alternative to conventional forest and sawmill wood chips, as well as a substitute for pellets. They consist of 100 per cent untreated AI recycled wood, such as pallet and packaging wood. No additional fresh wood is required for these wood chips, meaning that no trees need to be felled. The wood chips are characterised by their uniform grain size of approximately 30 to 50 millimetres, a moisture content of no more than 20 per cent and a 99.99 per cent absence of impurities. This makes them the ideal choice for you if you are looking for a sustainable and efficient way to use wood for heating. Our G30 wood chips are ideal for small combustion plants and can often also be used in wood chip stoves or even pellet heating systems. We recommend consulting the respective equipment manufacturer in this regard.
If you would like to purchase wood chips, you can benefit from our year-round availability and short lead times. Our wood chips can be viewed on site by appointment. Delivery is clean and uncomplicated in containers or in our specially developed blow-in containers. Alternatively, the wood chips can also be collected in big packs. You can easily dispose of waste wood categories I to IV at Reiling in Bönen – whether you are a private household or a business. Deliver your waste wood to us during regular opening hours or use our container delivery service. Feel free to contact us!

Prior sorting is mandatory for the recycling of waste wood due to the legal obligation to separate waste. We can usually recycle wood from indoor areas and reuse it. Waste wood from outdoor areas must be thermally recycled due to its contamination with wood preservatives, for example, and contributes to the generation of climate-neutral energy.
From untreated waste wood such as wood cuttings and pallets to interior doors/wooden furniture and particularly contaminated waste wood such as windows, exterior doors and railway sleepers. We recycle all types of waste wood in categories A I to A IV.

At our wood recycling site in Bönen, the collected waste wood is sorted, freed from foreign materials such as paper, plastic and metal, and then shredded. The existing contamination of the waste wood with pollutants determines the recycling method. Either the wood chips are used in the chipboard industry/furniture industry (material recycling) or thermally recycled for climate-neutral energy production.
The cost of disposing of waste wood always depends on the glass type and the quantity. Therefore, we cannot quote flat rates.
