Press release: One year on from the rebuild: Volvo L120H wheel loader in action at Reiling

Press release: Instead of purchasing a new wheel loader, we had a Volvo L120H thoroughly overhauled as part of Swecon’s certified rebuild programme. At Swecon’s Anröchte site, the machine was dismantled over a period of eight weeks, technically refurbished and reassembled using around 550 replacement original parts. Since its return, the wheel loader has been in daily use at our Marienfeld site for glass recycling and has already clocked up around 3,000 operating hours. It runs reliably, and our operators describe the driving experience as comparable to that of a new machine. The project demonstrates how we can extend the service life of existing machines whilst saving resources and reducing costs.
