A lot has happened in Lünen and we are now in the final stages of commissioning.
Our colleagues have been working on the planning and implementation of this major project for around two years.
The project included the construction of a new, state-of-the-art hollow glass recycling plant, which will completely replace our existing facility. Featuring the latest recycling technology, the new processing and drying plant will soon ensure even higher-quality KSP and colour sorting, especially in the fine grain range.
Our goal:
A huge improvement in the quality of our end products, which is totally in line with what our customers need.
As part of the project, a new production building over 20 metres high was also constructed for the new 4-storey recycling plant. In addition, further optimisation measures were implemented in Lünen, such as optimising the storage area with new partition walls for the separate storage of incoming and outgoing quantities, and renewing the paved areas.
