Proper disposal of waste wood – for private and commercial customers
At our site in Bönen, in the district of Unna, we recycle around 60,000 tonnes of waste wood every year. Using modern processing methods and rigorous quality controls, we ensure that disposing of waste wood is carried out in an environmentally responsible manner and that the material is returned to the recycling cycle. In this way, we make an important contribution to the protection of natural resources and to a sustainable circular economy. At the same time, we guarantee our customers the safe, legally compliant and professional disposal of waste wood.
We recycle waste wood in grades AI to AIV. This includes, amongst other things, wood from interior fittings such as ceiling panels, interior doors and window frames. We also recycle fences, roof battens and other construction timber in a professional manner. In addition, we accept wooden furniture such as cupboards, chests of drawers and shelves. Wooden pallets, wooden crates and various types of packaging timber are also among the materials we recycle. You can find a complete overview of all the types of wood we accept here.
The waste wood we recycle comes from a variety of sources. Some comes from industry and commercial premises. Further quantities come from municipal collections, such as bulky waste. We also work closely with construction companies and waste collection and disposal firms. Of course, private households can also bring their waste wood to us for proper recycling. For commercial deliveries, our 24-hour reception is available on weekdays, so that larger quantities of waste wood can be delivered flexibly and without long waiting times. We accept private deliveries Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:00.
